Dr. TT Poswa is a seasoned leader with over 40 years of experience in Environmental Health and academic management including being Head of Academic Department in Environmental Health. Holding a PhD in Bioethics and Health Law, Dr. Poswa is a certified Ethics Officer who has been training multidisciplinary groups in ethics since 2011.
Dr. Poswa serves in top decision-making roles at universities and in government, including the Ministerial Advisory Committee on Food Borne Illness (MAC-FBI) and as the national coordinator for Environmental Health Training Institutions in South Africa. Dr. Poswa’s expertise includes Research Ethics, community development, and leadership in health professions. Additionally, Dr. Poswa has presented on ethics to diverse audiences at both national and international levels.
